For example: FLAG *.* Normal This is also the case under NetWare 286. If you have NetWare 286 v2.15c or below, the FLAG command only allows you to change four of the eight options (Shareable, Read Only, Indexed, and Transactional). With NetWare 386 v3.0 and up, you can change all of the attributes with flag and if you use the NetWare 386 FLAG with NetWare 286, you can change all of the attributes on the NetWare 286 server. However, you must have modify rights. In NetWare 286, files are hidden with the HIDEFILE and unhidden with the SHOWFILE commands. (X) This information was verified in the lab.
