Number: A1TH083090U509 Subject: Replacing Access Server LOGIN Date: December 18, 1990 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PROBLEM: Documentation for the Access Server tells users to replace their NetWare LOGIN.EXE file with the one provided with the Access Server. When a customer running NetWare 386 does this, they will not be able to login to their 386 file server. SOLUTION: This documentation is outdated and should be ignored when running the Access Server with NetWare 386. In truth, the LOGIN.EXE supplied with the Access Server should be replaced by the LOGIN.EXE from NetWare 386 when the Access is being run with NetWare 386. The LOGIN.EXE supplied with the Access Server should be used in place of the LOGIN.EXE from versions of NetWare prior to v2.15c. (X) This information was verified in the lab.
