PROBLEM:       We had a customer who needed to install an accounting
               database to the root drive.  The install batch file required
               it to be C:.  

SOLUTION:      The customer typed MAP ROOT C:=SYS:DUMMY.  This established
               the root directory.  After he changed to this directory, he
               was able to run his batch file and everything installed
               correctly.
