Subject:       PRINTCON Error "Cannot attach to selected server..."

PROBLEM:       When you select an existing print job configuration in
               PRINTCON, it will try to connect you to the server in the
               job configuration.  If the server name has been changed
               since the configuration was made, the user will get an error
               "Cannot attach to selected server as guest".  
 
               The user we were working with upgraded from NetWare v2.15 to
               NetWare 386 v3.1 and changed the server name.  This made all
               his existing print job configurations useless.  He even
               tried renaming the NetWare 386 v3.1 server to the old name. 
               This still did not recover the use of his old print jobs.  

SOLUTION:      The only way we were able to see the jobs was to change the
               server name in the PRINTCON.DAT file (in the user's mail
               directory).  Using DEBUG, we scanned and replaced the server
               name.  This allowed him to document the jobs and then
               rebuild them from scratch on the 386 v3.1 system.
 
               This problem has been reported to Engineering.
