These programs are DEMONSTRATION COPIES of the 14 command
line utilities from ETI Software's NetCompanion package
for use with Novell NetWare. NetWare 2.1 or above is required
for most of the software.

All of these files should be copied into the \PUBLIC directory
of your file server, except SCONTROL.EXE.

To get help information for any one of these programs use the
"?" or "Help" option. For example, use:

     GETUSER HELP<ret>

to get help information on GETUSER.

The demonstration programs have been modified as follows:

CHKTIME - Time delay utility
  Print, Time and Quiet are the only available options.

CURSOR - Cursor size and position control
  The Half, Full, Size, Position and GetPosition options are disabled.

FINDPATH - Search path utility
  All options are disabled.

GETKEY - User/batch file interaction
  Keys, Prompt, and Return are the only available options.

GETUSER - Creating .USR files for MAKEUSER
  Information for one user only may be created at a time.

ISDIR - Directory and drive identification/creation
  All options are disabled.

KEYSTUFF - Place key presses in type-ahead buffer
  The $E (escape key) and $R (return key) special keys are disabled.

NCONNECT - Determine network connection
  Only the Server, User and Station options are available.

QSTAT - Print queue utility
  Only the Info, Jobs and User options are available.

SCONTROL - File server utility
  Only the Down, EnableLogins, Information and TTSON options
  are available.

SYSTAT - Display server status and information
  Only the Immediate option is avaialable. Information can be
  obtained only for the current server.

VMODE - Video mode identification
  The Quiet, Is and IsNot options are disabled. The video mode is not
  returned in the RC environment variable.

VTYPE - Video display identification
  Only the Mono option is available. The video type code is not
  returned in the RC environment variable.

XCLS - Extended clear screen
  The Show, Lines, Blink, Bright, Normal, Reverse and Size
  options are disabled.
