To run Power Edit you need to have the file vbrun300.dll in your Windows\System directory. This file is freely distributed by Microsoft Corporation and can be found on many commercial CD's and BBS's. 

To install: copy the files to an empty directory and from Program Manager hit the Run command. At the prompt type (directory)Setup.exe.
When the installation program runs, type in the drive and directory you are installing from and the destination drive and directory.

Power Edit is not freeware it is shareware. If you have any questions concerning the concept of shareware, read the accompanying file
sharewar.doc.

You have 30 days to use Powredit. If at the end of that evaluation period you do not wish to continue to use Power Edit, please delete the directory(Powredit) from your disk.
