Jeffrey M. Wilkins first became interested in technology when, as a young boy, he used a ham radio to contact someone in Lima, Peru. Since that initial exposure to the possibilities of electronic communication, he has continued to stay on the leading edge. Currently he serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Metatec Corporation where his responsibilities include NAUTILUS, which he calls "an evolutionary service as opposed to a revolutionary service." He believes that NAUTILUS is a great source of information because of what it offers subscribers. [Hear Jeff's remarks by playing COMMENTS.WAV.] Jeff was a key force in the development and success of the CompuServe Information service, an experience which, along with the advent of CD ROM technology, led him to formulate the NAUTILUS concept. He graduated from the University of Arizona with both an under- graduate and a master's degree in engineering. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, golfing and of course using his computer.
