Lookie what I found.. a disk I took with me to NAID '96. andy26.zip some tune I started and never finished johnny.zip an early start on "Johnny Walker" - released as a double tune with "7th Heaven" under Kosmic 3-4 months later! o3heart.zip "Ozone Heart" - a co-op with Mental Floss, intended for use in the Kosmic demo "KFMTV", which Jmx never finished (or started?) - I would have entered this in the music compo, but Mental Floss wanted to enter his own tune, so I entered Stigmata instead and it didn't place, oh well - released under Kosmic 1-2 months later. pnx-fd.zip "Finite Dreams" - my 32k music entry (same as release version) serpent.zip "Serpentry" - a halfway finished version from March which was released under Kosmic a week after the party. stigmata.zip "Stigmata" - my multichannel music entry. This version has surround sound (used inapproprately?) As for NAID '95, disks I took with me: - a disk with Synaesthesia 92 (used in EGG 3 three months later) Synaesthesia 255 (unreleased gabber remix) Wiggle Yo' Ass! (ended up entering it in the music compo) - a disk with Flight, Kosmic's demo entry, which GooRoo gave me the day before - a bunch of blank disks The story with WYA - completed one month before NAID, I intended it to be played during the "rave" - of course I had little idea what they'd be doing for it. I started a music compo entry called "Platinum", but gave up on it. At NAID, almost everyone I knew in the Kosmic/Ren room had a music compo entry, and even Maelcum decided to enter a tune off his just-finished "Nothing Is True" CD, so I decided I may as well find a tune to enter too. It was either syn92 (too long and ambient), syn255 (too fast :), or WYA. Well, when I found out the rave would be around 4am (couldn't stay awake that long :), I figured hearing WYA on the big speakers in the music compo would be good enough. So, that's how it got in. Stuff I took home with me on disk from '95: - Calgary Music Group's music disk, which they were handing out (this is the only real, physical musicDISK I own) - party version of Pisstro - party version of Eden (seperate GIF files, untimed so the anims flew on PCs > 66mhz :) - compo music from Necros, Mosaic, & CCCatch (got all their entries off Maelcum's PC on Friday night! I _think_ I heard Basehead's entry before the party) - and of course, Dope :) Yes, this is a hidden directory - just added for fun. - Phoenix
