Figment Shareware Version 2.57

This is the shareware version of Figment.  It is about a quarter
of the capacity of the registered version, but it should be ample
for you to develop your ideas sufficiently to make a purchase
decision.

This package can be distributed provided it is done free of
charge except of course for a nominal copying/handling fee. 
Please distribute the package intact as "Figpkg.exe".  Zip'd and
Arc'd versions are circulating and missing things like
documentation and/or the demo.  Figpkg is itself compressed about
50% so you are not gaining much by zipping the file.

Figment.doc is about 125 pages of documentation.  Load up your
printer and print it.  Demo.sdf is a sample story written as an
adventure game.  Demo.log will play the demo story like a player
piano, but read Hint.doc to learn how.  Of course some people
don't like to know who-dunnit until they've read the book.  In
which case, don't read hint.doc.  Order.frm gives ordering instructions.

Stories written with Figment can be distributed.  Figlet.exe,
available from Patch Panel, provides the run-time environment to
distribute your material.  See also re_cav.exe, a sample story
written by a Figment user.
