This is the Microsoft Video for Windows(tm) Runtime.

Installing this package allows you to view *.AVI files from Windows.

The Setup program installs all required drivers and updates the Windows 
program called "Media Player" (MPLAYER.EXE).

You use this new version of Media Player to playback the AVI files.  

This version of Media Player is also a OLE Server, so you can imbed it 
in other documents.
