SimCity 2000 for Dos & Windows By Mike Lamoureux Winning in the Scenario " Dullsville " Goal: To win in " Dullsville " you have to bring the population up to 20,000 in 5 years and with only 5 thousand dollars. Issue Bonds To win the scenario you must end with 5 thousand dollars cash. It doesn't matter where that money comes from. Take out 2 bonds to get some money. Add a Power Plant One Coal Power Plant will not hold this city for long. Add a 2'nd coal power plant behind " Dullsville Bluffs ", near the current one. Add the power lines from the new power plant to the city. ADD Now you should add a Seaport to the city. A seaport will incourage industry. Add it along the riverfront. You will have to connect a road. Next add a marina. Extend " Main Street " to the coast, then add a marina to the waterfront. All of this is to attract Sims. Add dence Residential to the sides of the new Main street. This well bring expencive housing into " Dullsville ". Now it is time to give the city water. " Dullsville " has no water system. Add water pumps behind the first power plant along the waterfront. Connect pipes to the city. Next add a stadium. Bring " Main Street " all the way up to the moutains. Place the stadium on the right hand side right where the city ends. ZONE ZONE, ZONE, ZONE. Bring the city all the way up to the mountains. Then start going left until you reach another set of mountains. Then you can let the simulator run. NOTE Remember that the sims can't get beyond 3 blocks without some kind of transportation.
