I was browsing through the tapes at the local wally world today and came
across some Barney tapes. I was really disappointed. Not only are the
contents crap, but the marketing was cheap and worthless. Faded pictures
and cheap printing were some of the highlights (not unusual for wally
world products IMHO).

The big thing I noticed was the suggested viewing age. 1-8 years old.
One to eight. Is this obscene or what. It's so bland and worthless that
it should appeal to one year olds as well as 8 year olds. How could you
subject an eight year old to that which is intended to capture the attention
of a 1 year old. GAWD. Are we trapping older kids at a 1 or 2 year old
level? This is simply disgusting.

I would like to make a Barney shish ka bob, but where could you find a
skewer that would hold him and Baby Bop?
