Ok, PIM is back and the Poetry Train is back on the tracks.

I have cause for celebration this month.

The Poetry Corner Conference is 3 years old this month.

I'm proud to announce that PIM-BBS is listed in the July ('93) Issue
   of Computer Shopper.

A special celebration is celebrated by Poetry In Motion - The Poetry
Newsletter ("PIM"). A year ago, Michael Gibbs left me a message
requesting that I check out his BBS because he had re configured PIM
so that it could be viewed online via a program he created called
   ReadRoom.

This month PIM celebrates its first year of entering the online
world using the ReadRoom door format.

In addition to his creation of format for magazine and newsletter
viewing online (for BBS's), Michael made PIM "user friendly" by
creating an offline program ("READER.COM") wherein the user need
only type READER and "BINGO" you have a local simulation of the
READROOM door. PIM now has an attractive, menu-driven interface for
users both when viewing on a BBS and on their own computer using
   READER.

The format (READROOM.TOC) provides for display of ASCII, ANSI text
files as well as [ANSIART] files. Each publication can hold up to
99 articles and the door can hold up to 99 publications. The latest
version will allow us to send out pictures and programs to you all
to launch from within the offline reader.

The program also will determine whether your system uses MONO or
ANSI and runs the program accordingly. If you've ever had programs
that request you to type (C) for color or (M) for mono (like the
original PIM) and made a mistake and typed the wrong letter, you can
really appreciate a file that won't make YOUR mistakes!

I thank Michael Gibbs for coming aboard and helping put the Poetry
   Train in further motion!
