This issue of Online News and Review marks the sixth month that Online
News and Review has been in publication. The last six months have brought
about new writers and new systems carrying this magazine monthly. Distribution
has more than doubled and the feedback I get is that people are enjoying what
we have to offer. Thanks to everyone who is distributing Online News and
Review on their BBS and thanks to all the readers who have helped upload ONR
around the country.

The June issue has some really great pieces for you to read. If you are
interested in the new Pemtium chips, Mike has come up with some super inform-
ation on them. If fact, it takes up four articles, ending with a question and
answer piece that answered a lot of my own questions.

Keith Rauch has a review on the book "The Cuckoo's Egg". It covers the
story of Clifford Stoll, the systems manager at Lawrence Berkley Lab, and how
by tracking down what seemed to be a trivial $.75 discrepancy in a billing,
discovered an international hacking ring.

New to Online News and Review is Jeffrey Owens. A writer from California
Jeffrey has written an ongoing story that starts with the meaning of life.
Parts one and two premier this month and hopefully we'll see the rest of the
story in future issues. Read this one, I'm sure you'll be ROTFL!

That's it for now. Enjoy the June issue and have fun in the sun!
