Windows 3.0 users ...
=====================

If you do not already have a copy of COMMDLG.DLL installed on your system,
you may have to install a copy for On This Day for Windows to work
correctly. We have supplied this redistributable file and installing it is
as simple as copying the DLL to the appropriate directory.

Assuming that you have installed On This Day for Windows in c:\otd and
Windows is installed in c:\windows, the following command will accomplish
this:

copy c:\otd\commdlg.dll c:\windows\system

Known problems discovered in On This Day for Windows v 2.01 ...
==============================================================

- There may be a problem when On This Day for Windows is run on a system
  with another shareware product, named Plug-In, installed. Plug-In is a
  Program Manager add-on.

  According to the authors of Plug-In, it runs on each of the top-level
  windows' stacks. Previous versions of On This Day for Windows did not
  have a large enough stack to operate when Plug-In hitches a ride. We
  have increased the size of our stack and believe it should now work.

  We still include the following workaround, suggested by the authors of
  Plug-In, as it is not included in their documentation and the problem
  might recur if Plug-In grow in size.

  In the file PLUGIN.INI, which is installed in the directory in which
  Microsoft Windows is installed, add the following information. Note: if
  you already have a section named [Exclude], don't add a new one, just put
  the second line in that existing section.

    [Exclude]
