     WHAT IS NUTRISOFT HEART PERFECT?

     NutriSoft Heart Perfect is an indispensable tool to those with high 
     risk for coronary heart disease (CHD) to monitor their diet and to control 
     their weight. The program is based on the U.S. Surgeon General's dietary 
     guidance and on studies of the National Institutes of Health.
     Diet is the cornerstone of therapy to reduce blood cholesterol level 
     whether or not drug therapy is used. NutriSoft Heart Perfect helps you 
     identify and eliminate high-fat, high-cholesterol foods from your diet. 
     It also helps you set up plan to achieve a desirable weight and avoid 
     obesity. As a result you can obtain the benefits without the risk 
     associated with side effects of lipid-lowering drugs. Studies have shown 
     that many CHD patients can reduce their cholesterol levels substantially 
     with diet alone. When drugs are required, simultaneous modification of 
     the diet may reduce their dosage requirements, cost and potential side 
     effects. According to the National Cholesterol Education Program adult 
     treatment guidelines, over 40 million adult Americans could benefit from 
     dietary education and treatment.

     INSTALLATION 

     Insert the NutriSoft Heart Perfect diskette into drive A: or B:.
     From the Windows File Manager, run the 'setup.exe' program on the 
     diskette. 
     Setup will copy all needed files to a directory on your hard drive 
     and create a Program Manager's group for NutriSoft Applications.


     RUNNING THE PROGRAM

     Double click on the NutriSoft Heart Perfect icon in the 
     NutriSoft Applications Group.

     Registered users receive an upgraded diskette of NutriSoft Heart
     Perfect which contains an expanded database containing many more
     food items and has no preset limit on the size of user food database.

     A full 15-page User's Guide in Windows 'write' format is included in
     registered version. Please note this is a .wri file, not a hard copy.

     User data for dialog boxes are saved to disk in registered version 
     and RDA analysis figures are calculated to exactly match registered
     user's profile.

     In addition, registered users can obtain free technical support via 
     America Online, CompuServe or Internet.
