Send list to your Call Sign Area Manager (see below) with $1.00 registration fee plus $4.00 for the first year's dues. You will receive a certificate and permanent 10-10 number. You must pay dues annually to remain in good standing and participate fully. AWARDS: If you apply for any of the following 10-10 awards, you MUST include proof of paid-up membership -- a copy of your membership card or of the address label from the quarterly newsletter. Your application will be rejected if you fail to comply. BARS AND PLAQUES: Log the 10-10 numbers you work on 10 meters, all bona fide number exchanges. List 100, no more, no less, thus: 1. List numbers in serial order, showing also call, handle and location. 2. Submit only one list at a time. 3. Log books or copies of log pages are not acceptable. 4. Give your name, address, callsign and 10-10 number, and show which bar you are requesting. 5. Enclose a 4" by 9.5" SASE postage 22 cents first oz., 17 cents ea. additional oz. 6. INTERNATIONAL 500 OF THE WORLD: With your 500 Bar comes an Honorary VP Number, membership in the International 500 of the World, and added activities including the following two awards: 1. The VP Certificate. Certificates go to members who work 100, 200 and so on other VPs. But contacts must be made between 28.3 and 28.55 MHz, or above 28.9 MHz. The purpose is to promote band-edge occupancy. Each contact must be maintained for at least 5 minutes. Send your list in order of VP numbers to Grace Dunlap K5MRU, Box 445, LaFeria TX 78559. You must also include the 10-10 number of each VP on your list. Do not send an SASE. A special envelope is required, so send a first-class stamp. Overseas members send 3 IRCs. Include proof of your paid-up 10-10 membership. 2. The Lucky 13. There are 15 100kHz points between 28.3 MHz and 29.7 MHz. Work 13 of them and you qualify for the Lucky 13 Award. WORKED ALL CONTINENTS: This certificate is awarded to 10-10 members who can show proof of having worked a 10-10 member in each of the six continental areas: North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Cost of the certificate is $2.00 USA, payable when you apply with QSL proof of contacts, and include return postage.
