Note: If you decide to own a copy of Grade Organizer, you
will receive retail diskettes with a complete set of files,
a setup program to install Grade Organizer and a detailed
User's Guide.


I. INSTALLING GRADE ORGANIZER
****************************************************************

A. Decompressing your file(s)
    If your file(s) end(s) with the extension 'zip' 
    they need to be decompressed. Grade Organizer files have
    been compressed using PKZIP 1.1.

    The following are the necessary files to run Grade Organizer:
        * Main program: GRADE.EXE
                        GRID.VBX
        * 3D look:      CTL3DV2.DLL
                        THREED.VBX

B. New Directory
    Create a new directory with File Manager. 
    For example 'C:\GRADE'
								
C. Grade Organizer files
    Copy the following files to the newly
    created directory:

         GRADE.EXE, GRID.VBX, THREED.VBX.
         						
D. 'CTL3DV2.DLL' 
    Copy the file 'CTL3DV2.DLL' to your Windows directory
    or Windows System directory. For example: 'C:\WINDOWS'
    or 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM'.

    Note: Do not override an existing file and remove all
          duplicates to avoid file conflict.
 							
E. Start Grade Organizer
    From File Manager double-click with the left mouse	
    button on the file 'GRADE.EXE'.

    Grade Organizer is now opened and a dialog box
    appears asking you to create a School Session.	
    
    ** To create a School Session
       A School Session is a directory where all your Classes
       will be saved.

	a. Start Grade Organizer.

	b. A dialog box appears asking you to create a School
	   Session. Choose the OK button.

	c. Enter a directory as indicated on 
	   the dialog box. For example 'C:\GRADE\1994'.

	d. Choose the Set Path button.

You are now ready to add Subjects, Classes and Assignments. 
Follow the instructions on the screen.

amount of time and work. Using Grade Organizer without 
registering will prevent us from upgrading and allowing you
to try the software before buying the actual product. On the 
other hand, your purchase of the product will be used to better
the product and to customize it to your specific needs.

You are granted a 3-week trial period. Using Grade Organizer
beyond this grace period is a violation of the United States
copyright law. When exiting Grade Organizer a dialog box 
appears, giving you all the necessary information to register
a copy of this product.

You can distribute freely the on-line version of Grade 
Organizer, if this Readme.txt file is included.

In no event shall the author or his suppliers be liable for
any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages
for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of 
business information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of 
the use of or inability to use this product, even if the author 
has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because 
some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of 
liability for consequential damages, the above limitation 
may not apply to you.

This agreement should be governed by the laws of the state
of COLORADO. Any action or proceeding brought by either party
against the other arising out of or related to this agreement
shall be brought only in a STATE or FEDERAL COURT of competent
jurisdiction located in Jefferson County, Colorado.
The parties hereby consent to in personam jurisdiction of
said courts.
