Gday, The King here for a bit of a chat! The release date stated in the demo is in fact the 17th, but due to serious problems finding a cruncher that worked, this demo actually hits the BBS's of Melbourne on the 23rd of February 1992. After trying Imploder V4.0 and getting the daunting message of "Imploding is impossible", I resorted to Powerpacker V2.3B (used on Nocturne). Even THAT wouldn't co-operate and I scoured the BBS's for ANYTHING that would do the job and I stumbled on the Titanics Cruncher, dated, but it only falls a few kilobytes short of PowerPacker. AND, (this is the big bonus folks), 512k users can now jam to our funky bassline because of Titanics very memory conscious decrunch routines. We're considering adopting it as our permanent crunch mode for this reason, however, as the modules get bigger, we may have to stick to 1 meg in the future. But for the time being, 512k users needn't miss out, enjoy! Butt Crust '92. Stay tuned for the new look Butt Crust, and, modules from Clivilles and Cole, Public Enemy, Bizarre Incorporated, and so much more, Butt Crust, dedicated to dance!!
