Debbie Gibson Soundblaster Module Collection for BtL archives 'Only in my dreams' release 2.00 remixed and arranged by davide guida for BtL. (c) atlantic records, 1986 / (c) dgmusic, 1992-93. From the 1st Deb's album, 'Out of the blue', here's a new version of her first hit in 'protracker' format (.mod) file. This release can be downloaded and distributed freely, with NO modifications! Keep safe the .zip file for distri- bution. OIMD20.MOD was created by using Whacker Tracker 1.01 and ModEdit 2.00 on a PC-386sx. It is 'virtually' playable on PC/AT IBM (and compatible), supplied with a sound device (soundblaster, covox, proaudio and so on), or a Commodore Amiga. A lot of programs can be used. On PCs the modplayers providing a good sound with this module are WOW 1.0, Dual Module Player, ModPlay 2.19b. Other players like Rainbow Player and all modplayers using only a 3-octave range couldn't play OIMD20.MOD in a good way. On Amigas, the standard provides the 3-octave range, so I don't know if there is some program able of playing the module correctly. If someone of you knows a mod player compatible with this module, please write an 'addendum' text for this module and upload it. Debbie Gibson Module Collection is oriented to join all Debbie Gibson's fans using a personal computer and creating modules for hobby or work. I invite each of them to create and upload their favorite songs. Now, the Debbie's mods are available only on Internet, through the anonymous FTP archives. The official FTP sites are (from January 1st, 1993): cs.uwp.edu in the /pub/music/lists/btl/mods directory info.brad.ac.uk in the /misc/mods/debbie directory If you want to know how to use FTP, write me. For information about Debbie Gibson's Module Collection you can write to me at the following address: dgs software / music debbie gibson section c/o davide guida via rodolfo falvo, 10 80127 napoli (italia). ps: each e-mail address reported in the previous documentation files supplied with mods are off 'cause of problems in the italian internet networks.
