Years passed, but nobody ever argued with IBM because of the bad sound. Many companies developed sound cards that they wanted the users to buy and install in their computers, and so on..... When Commodore developed the AMIGA, they didn't do the same fault. They installed a sound-chip in the AMIGAs that was able to play four different samples (voices) at one time.) I first was introduced to .Mod's by demo's off BBS and found a .MOD Editor that I like (SBSTUDIO). I have other's like Whacker Tracker & Modedit but SBSTUDIO is the best editor I've seen and it's the only Editor that I have, that is registerd to me. I am trying to write a .Mod player but No one out there has any info on .Mod's. So if you do have any info on .Mod's...Send me a copy! Also if you have made any .Mod's then send it to me & I'll send you some of mine! If you need a Editor I have: SBSTUDIO demo, Whacker Tracker, Modedit 2.0, B's Pro Tracker, King mod, Another good editor is Mr. H's Tracker...I use this one sometimes! Or Players: Dual Module player, Protected Module Player (a Mod player that runs in Protected mode, so you can load alot of mod's at once! *My favorite*), Modual Pro Version 2.19b by Mark J. Cox! I have made a module player called PlayMOD ver2.0 its not the best player but it supports all the new trackblaster functions & it will work on SB, Disney Sound Source, PC speaker(Ouch!), & DAC's!
