"Daily Bread" can be run in a memory-resident mode. Use the r parameter when
running the program (db r). You must have a hard drive or a large-capacity
floppy to run "Daily Bread" in resident mode because it uses disk-swapping.
Performance will be slow if run from a large-capacity (720K or better) floppy
in resident mode. Otherwise there should be no problems in running "Daily
Bread" from a floppy drive in stand-alone mode. Please see the documentation
for more details and for registration information. Use the printdb.bat file
to print out the documentation (5 pages). At the prompt, type "printdb" no
quotes and enter.

Note: if you have problems running "Daily Bread" on your compatible, try
running the program called dbold. The memory resident mode is not available
with that program. To run it, type "dbold" (no quotes) and <enter>.
