Dear fellow SYSOP,

The "text" files distributed with RBBS consist of:

menus - (MENU*.*,CONFENCE)  Files displayed, mainly to novice callers,
        explaining the choices available

help -  (*.HLP,HELP*)  Files displayed to callers when they ask
        for help with an option.

bulletins - (BULLET*)  Files displayed to callers in the B)ulletin
        command.

others - Prelog, welcome, passwords, file security, sample programmable
        user interface.  See documentation for details.


RBBS-PC Version CPC16-1A is distributed via seven standard "ARC" files.

RBBS-SRC.ARC  347,682  Source code for RBBS-PC.  Optional.

RBBS-CDR.ARC  445,897  Files needed to use RBBS-PC with PC-SIG's CD-ROM.
                       Optional and is based on CD-ROM disk 817.

RBBS-UTL.ARC  191,825  Optional utilities for RBBS-PC.  Contains a utility
                       for converting 14.1D - 15.1C "DEF" files to 16.1A,
                       and a utility to edit/maintain messages and users.


Simply unarchive these files and follow the instruction in the RBBS-PC 
documentation entitled, "Installing RBBS-PC for the First Time."
