This small package contains the following files:

This README
main.rip
file.rip
msg.rip
mail.rip

I made them in a hurry but they work. What they are are a few of the RIP
screens I use on my BBS. For those with no RIP drawing program, these may
provide an adequate display for RIP viewers on your BBS. They were geared
toward Renegade but could be used on others with minimal modification.

I was going to throw in a viewer, but all the RIP viewers I tried choked
trying to read these RIPs, but strangely the drawing programs they came with
viewed them no problem.

MAIN.RIP - several common main menu commands. The user can select with
either a keystroke or by clicking on the box of their choice.
FILE.RIP - File commands, keypress or mouse activiated.
MSG.RIP - Message base commands.
MAIL.RIP - Mail facility. Includes "radio buttons" that depress when clicked
           on with a mouse.

To modify a screen (ie. change the main menu's "The Midnight Run"), load it
into a standard ASCII editor (DOS's EDIT.COM is perfect) and change where
you see the text. Remember this prints in a box so make sure you don't run
out of the box or it won't look good.

Modifying buttons and their text is tougher but can be done. Load the file
into the ASCII editor, and change the text for the box, then near the end of
the RIP, find the "send to BBS" command (one letter) and make it the key of
the new option.

If you need more screens or help, I can be reached at several locations:

Internet - rfs@world.std.com
BBS - The Midnight Run - 14.4k/424 megs - OS/2+Renegade - 908-689-1754
I can be mailed via the Renegade Echo conference as well.

Snail Mail - for donations, questions, requests, or just plain boredom, I can
             be reached at:

             Rikk Streng
             15 East Church Street
             Washington, NJ 07882

The price for all this? Yeah right! This is freeware, knock yourself out.
Just don't take out the "Made by Locksmith" in the RIPs (that's ME!)
