Program Description:
JOURNAL OF A MISFIT "Journal..." is an electronic magazine that takes a controversial, critical, humorous, sometimes irreverent view of what's wrong with America and the world. Both share many of the same problems, brought about by politicians, bureaucrats, victims, and other assorted "groups" that need serious reassessment, or in the author's words, "THEY NEED TO GROW UP! GET A GRIP! GET A LIFE!" Although the author identifies himself, he prefers to remain "semi-anonymous" to avoid the favorite American tactic of "labeling." In his opinion, labeling falls into many categories: he's over-educated; under-educated; wealthy; poor; naive/ignorant/stupid/pompous/arrogant; a racist black/white/Indian; or the most popular of all: A VICTIM! Briefly, he identifies himself as a self-styled mixture of Art Buchwald, Seinfeld, and Andy Rooney--a better dresser than Buchwald, much older than Seinfeld--much younger than Andy Rooney--minus the money or fame of all. "Journal..." seems to "get around to almost everyone."
