This is the first screen you will see after IMAGES III is loaded.
This is basically the launch pad to the many features. Keyboard
entry has been kept as simple as possible and in most cases tasks
can be preformed in more than one manner. For example
[control+esc] has always been used in IMAGES as an escape with
save hot key. For Windows user who find this awkward the [F7]
does the same job. Please see the last page for a list of "hot
        keys" and what they do.

        SEARCHING IMAGES DATABASE:
        =========================
        Selection 1:
        Range Selector Using Reference Id.
A range selector displays only the records that fall between a
user defined "Start With" and "End With" entry field. The way
your records will be displayed depends on how you are using the
REF fields on Data Entry Form 1.

Both the "Start With" and "End With" entry fields have pop up
select windows attached. Press [F5] to display them.

EXAMPLE: If you enter the letter A in the "Start With" field and
the letters AZ in the "END WITH" field all records that have an
entry in the REF field beginning with A will be displayed in a
        View Table.

Hint: The range selector displays records in a View Table format.
Edits and Deletes may be done here but no adds.

This Selection will display a sub menu offering four options.

Option 1 will search all records entered.
Option 2 will search only slide records.
Option 3 will search only color print/neg records.
Option 4 will search only black and white records.

Selection 2: Search Title Field for A String.
Selection 3: Search Description Fields for a string.
Selection 4: Search Location Fields for a string.

A String is anything you can type on the keyboard in any combina-
tion. This search is case sensitive. This means if you type in
"a" the search will only look for small "a". The more of a
string you type the narrower the search.

EXAMPLE: If you were to type in "A" all records that had a capi-
tal "A" in the title field would be displayed. On the other hand
if you typed on "Blue Moose" only the records with "Blue Moose in
the Title field would be displayed.

The search results are displayed in report format. Allowing you
to send the results to the Printer, Screen or a Text File.

        Expenses /Invoices:
        ===================

With this module you can :
        Create and Print Assignment Estimates:
        Create and Print Assignment Invoices
        Create and Print Stock Invoices
Create and Print Multi Part Production Summaries
Create and Print Job Change Confirm Memos
        Print Copyright Licenses Agreement
        Print Terms and Conditions.

A more detailed discussion of this module is available in the
        IMAGES III manual.

Basically all is pretty straight forward. Selecting anyone of
the menu options will display a sub menu. The first selection on
the sub menu will place you on a View Table.

Selection 1 - All Sub Menus.
This is where you will create your Invoice, Production Summary
        etc.

If no work has been done under this selection before or if you
have deleted all entries a blank form(s) will be displayed. Some
of these items have more than one page. The top right will tell
you what you are on and how many pages are available for this
        function.

Example: The Production Summary has seven (7) pages of data entry
and calculations. (All calculations are taken care of by IMAGES)
The top right corner of the first page will read "PAGE 1 of 7"
        and so forth.

After creating and saving to disk what ever item you need. Select
        item 2.

Selection 2 - All Sub Menus.
The printing is done from here. In most cases a range selector
is used allowing you to print out items for more than one client.
Like all other printing functions in IMAGES you can send this to
a text file, print out as many copies as you need on any attached
printer. Or view it on the screen or edit it if you are using the
        registered version.

Note: A special editor is included in the registered version at
        no charge.
