to be uptodate or accurate but I hope it will help us getting
coordinated.

Browsing

Aims to add browsing support to Samba, so Samba servers appear in the
browse lists of WfWg and NT machines.

Smbfs

A mountable smb filesystem for Linux using the userfs userspace filesystem

Currently this is at version 0.2. It works but is really only for
people with some knowledge and experience of Linux kernel hacking.

Long filenames

Aims to add full long filename support to the Samba server, so NT and
other long filename capable clients can see full case sensitive long
filenames on the server.

Nmbd

Aims to produce a complete rfc1001/1002 implementation. The current
nmbd is a partial implementation.
