This is the initial public distribution of the OLC On-Line Consulting System. The file olc_doc.tar.Z contains a compressed tar file which contains the documetation for building and installing OLC, as well as the papers that have been presented about it at conferences. The file olc_dist.tar.Z is a compressed tar file which contains the source code for the OLC daemons, clients, and related programs. Instructions for building the sources and installing the programs can be found in the file doc/install.{tex,PS}. A set of sample configuration files is also included in this tar file, in the "samples" directory; instructions for how to modify them to suit your needs can be found in the "install" document. 'olc-users@ATHENA.MIT.EDU' is a mailing list set up for discussing issues relating to OLC, as well as the place where new releases of the OLC software will announced.
