Watcher has been sucessfully made and run on 4.3BSD on vaxen, Ultrix 3.0
on vaxen (what else?), and a sun 3/160 version 4.0.1 of the SUNOS.
Thanks to Alan Silverstein for bringing up watcher on a system V.2 machine
and pointing out the berkeleyisms (which I hope are all #ifdef'd now).

A short description of all of the files and directories for watcher.

Ideas - changes that I need to or would like to make for watcher.
known bugs are listed here. Someday I will fix them. If you fix them
before I do, please send the fixes to me.

Changes - what has changed since watcher was last posted to the net.

Docs - here is all of the documentation for watcher. A man page and the
paper that appeared in the proceedings of the summer usenix conference
in 1987.

Makefile - you guessed it.

README - this file

Support - directory of useful files to use with watcher. There were
taken from actual use at UNM (although they were taken a while back and
may not be what is in use now). They may help in seeing how at least
one site is running watcher.

The rest of the files should be the source.

Happy Watching.

Bug fixes and reports should be sent to:
