Gated distribution


The current version of gated is 3.0.1, available in this directory as
gated-R3_0.tar.Z.  It is also available via e-mail from the archive
server, gated-people-archive@gated.cornell.edu, send a message with a
subject line of "help" for instructions on how to use it. 

Gated 3.0.1 supports RIP 1 and 2, DCN HELLO, OSPF 2, EGP 2 and BGP 1 and
2.

The Alpha version of Gated 3.1, available in this directory as
gated-R3_1Alpha_x.tar.Z has initial support for route aggregation
(required for CIDR) and will soon also support BGP 4.

There is a subset (but not a small one) of isode 7.0 stored here with
the patches to make SNMP work.  This is required to use SNMP with gated
unless you are using gated with AIX 3.
