The pathname for bulletins is ddn-news/ddn-mgt-bulletin-nn.txt (where "nn" is the bulletin number). ************************************************************************ Relocation of Marina del Rey Mailbridge to El Segundo Ref. 1: DDN Management Bulletin #99, Change of Architecture for MILNET/NSFNET Connectivity. 1. From 7-10 Dec 92, DISA plans to relocate the BBN Butterfly mailbridge at Marina del Rey, CA (MILNET node 103). This is being done in conjunction with the de-installation of node 103. The current network address for this mailbridge is 26.6.0.103. If a gateway/concentrator uses this address as its primary source for routing information via EGP, it should use its alternate mailbridge starting no later than 7 Dec 92. 2. The Marina del Rey mailbridge is being moved to El Segundo, CA (MILNET node 65) and should be installed on 8 Dec 92. Its new IP address is 26.29.0.65. All gateways/concentrators assigned to obtain routing information via EGP with 26.6.0.103 should change their gateway/ concentrator configuration to 26.29.0.65 on 13 Dec 92. Any gateway/ concentrator administrator who is uncertain which mailbridge his/her gateway/concentrator should communicate with should obtain a copy of Reference 1 from the NIC. For assistance obtaining Ref. 1, call the NIC at 1-800-365-3642. 3. Any gateway/concentrator administrator who is unable to obtain a copy of Ref. 1 can contact the appropriate monitoring center to verify the assignment for his/her IP address.
