Internet Services 
Once you're connected to the Internet, you can use the NETCOM NetCruiser
software to access all of the following services: 
 
' World Wide Web - lets you use your mouse to view pages of information
containing text and graphics. Often, Web pages contain links to audio,
video, shareware, and other types of computer media. 
 
' E-mail - allows you to instantly send electronic mail to anyone using the
Internet or other popular on-line services. NETCOM NetCruiser provides you
with your own Internet address so you can receive e-mail, 
too.  
 
' USENET Newsgroups - are electronic bulletin boards that allow you to share
messages with people who have the same interests. There are currently 15,000
newsgroups and more are appearing everyday. 
 
' FTP (File Transfer Protocol) - lets you download files from the Internet. 
 
' IRC (Internet Relay Chat) - allows you to carry on conversations with other

Before installing NETCOM NetCruiser on your computer, check to be sure your
computer system meets the following specifications. 
 
' IBM compatible PC with a 386 or higher computer 
' VGA graphics card, color monitor recommended 
' mouse or other pointing device 
' 9600 baud modem or greater 
' Microsoft Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS 5.0 (or greater) or Windows 95 
' 4 MB recommended Random Access Memory (RAM) 
' 4 MB free hard disk space 
 
Other Requirements 
You will need a major credit card to complete the registration and to open
your NETCOM account. 
 
Directions 
You can install NETCOM NetCruiser in just a few easy steps, explained in
detail below. 
 
1)  Insert the NetCruiser diskette into a drive on your computer. 
2)  From the Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu. If you are
using Windows 95, choose Run from the Start menu on the Task bar. The Run
dialog box will appear. 
3)  In the Run text box, type a:setup or b:setup. Type the drive letter
where the installation disk is located. 
4)  Click OK or press Enter. Follow the directions that appear on the
screen to complete the installation. 
5)  Once the installation is complete, you will be asked if you would like
to complete your NETCOM On-line registration. 
6)  Click Yes to launch the NETCOM NetCruiser Registration program. Follow
the directions that appear on the screen to register with NETCOM. 
 
Note: You will need a credit card to complete the registration and open your
NETCOM account. 
 
7)  When you have finished registering, click Login Now to launch NETCOM
NetCruiser and access the Internet. 
 
Note: You may need to restart your computer after registering. To launch
NETCOM NetCruiser after restarting, double-click the NetCruiser icon in the
NETCOM program group.

NETCOM NetCruiser is award-winning software that lets you point and click
through a full range of services including e-mail, the World-Wide Web,
newsgroups, IRC (Internet Relay Chat) and more. To use NETCOM NetCruiser,
