Otherwise, it is not fully supported at this time (and gcc: this is why I haven't gone to 2.5.6 yet) In particular, the new gcc: C libraries are required to use C++ > 2.5.x, and those are still gcc: in alpha testing and will have to wait for a future release. gcc: gcc: In summary, if you're a kernel hacker you may need this compiler, gcc: but otherwise you're probably better off using gcc 2.4.5 for now.
