The images of boot floppy on the Trans-Ameritech CDROM are only for 5.25 inch drives. Sorry. If you use a SCSI or Mitsumi CDROM, you can use the Slackware distribution. Most people say it is better than SLS. If you have a Sound Blaster or Sony CDU31A CDROM, you need my custom kernel. There are two solutions: to get the correct 3.5 image from here, or for you to copy the slackware directory to your dos disk temporarily , make a boot floppy from the image there and install Slackware (please read the doc i file in slackware directory). Then you can either recompile the kernel or copy the right one from /kernels/ -Alex.
