Q: I can't mount my PhotoCD under linux, what is wrong ?

A: PhotoCD's are written with XA-sectors. That's why your drive and
driver has to be able to handle these sectors. The sbpcd driver can
handle them, the new driver's added somewhere in 1.1.8x (aztech,
...) should work too. The mitsumi-driver which comes with the
standard-kernel can not handle XA-sectors. But there is a
   replacement: Have a look at
      ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/cdrom/drivers/mitsumi/

SCSI-drives: If the drive can handle XA-sectors without extra
SCSI-commands, it will work. Newer kernels (1.2.x) have some
drive-specific code for TOSHIBA's, they should work allways.

Q: I can mount PhotoCD's, but linux can see only the first session :-(

A: There has changed a lot between 1.1.70 and 1.2.x. If you have an
old kernel, an kernel update should solve the problem in most
cases. For mitsumi-drives the new driver (see above) should
work. The SCSI-Driver can handle multisession-CD's with NEC and
   TOSHIBA-drives.
