I cannot answer questions about Linux -- I merely summarize the kernel
patches after reading them. I try to make them useful to everyone,
but kernel hackers should take them with a grain of salt and read the
patches themselves. The patch file is patch-1.2.6.gz
- Frederic Potter added to CREDITS
- Multiple LUN probing added to i386/config.in
- Spelling corections.
- LANCE Ethernet driver reliability improved.
- Back off the ne2000 driver changes, but there's still a problem there.
- NCR 53c7,8xx SCSI modularized, with source cleanups and bug fixes.
- If a select() returned immediately, it would increment the timeout.
- New definitions added for byte order, so as to eliminate the
architecture listings
- Swapper will consider more processes for swapping out.
