A sample output is given below. I am using a Debian 0.93R6, with the 1.2.13 kernel, and libc 4.6.27 as distributed. Clearly, this bug depends on what I have installed. It looks to me like mfmake* should be in the mfbin package. Otherwise, mfbin is not marked as requiring the package that they are in. $ dpkg --configure mfbin Setting up mfbin ... /var/lib/dpkg/info/mfbin.postinst: mfmakemfbase: command not found /var/lib/dpkg/info/mfbin.postinst: mfmakecmmfbase: command not found dpkg: error processing mfbin (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127 Errors were encountered while processing: mfbin -- Neil Turton, Assistant computer officer, Churchill college, Cambridge.
