It's very strange because the script that's calling mv is supposed to test to see if the file exists before trying to move it. > /etc/minicom.users? What's that for? In any case, it's still not there after > I've installed it... It's a configuration file for minicom that allows you to restrict the users that can actually run the executable. The person who did the 1.6 package decided they belonged in /etc, while the original author and I feel the proper location to be /var/lib/minicom. The postinst script now checks to see if you have either of the two minicom configuration files in /etc, and moves them to /var/lib/minicom (so you don't lose your configuration info). Like I said, I don't understand why it tried to move things if it wasn't there. Mike. -- "I'm a dinosaur.
