NEW STUFF:
There is now a manual. I have included FOUR versions:

ConfigXF86.PS 	Postscript
ConfigXF86.txt 	ASCII text file
ConfigXF86.rtf 	Rich text format file
configxf.doc 	MS Word file (requires v.eps and h.eps included files)
	



Please test this thang on as many platforms as you can, as quickly as you 
can and get back to me at stz@netcom.com 

Whats been fixed:

3/10/94		Re-Write completed

3/11/94		Database compiled

3/12/94		Driver and Server fields added to the database so that 
		neither SuperProbe now xinit is needed to determine the 
		driver type

3/13/94:	Fixed the solaris compatibility problems with 'echo'

3/14/94		Testing, tweaking, swearing, sweating

3/15/94		Test output sent to DWEX for perusal

3/16/94		Put it to bed for now (let some one else play with it a while.)

3/17/94 	Rested!

3/18-3/20/94	Dave Wexelblat - tesitng and alterations, added help screens 
		and modified onscreen prompts to be more explicit,
		modified calculation of $Vr for interlaced modes

3/21/94		STZ found and fixed peculiarities in the Monitor database,
		Fixed problem with 'tuned' 'Modes' lines
		Fixed problem with lost hsync/vsync flags

		(There is no support yet for adding or modifying lost 
		 hsync/vsync flags in Fiddle function)

3/21/94		Submitted to David Dawes for perusal and posting to the 
		FTP site

3/28/94		\t and \n echo problems fixed, extra verbage added to the 
		fiddle help screen expaining the [s] option. Extra verbage
		added to the 'Options' input prompt explaing input format.
		NumLn function added to make up for the missing 'nl' in 
		some OS's. Long filenames truncated for SVR3.x

3/29/94		Manuals (draft) completed for both ConfigXF86 and MakeCard
		expr bug fixed

4/5/94		Added the following:
			Emulate3Button option to mouse prompt
			[+-][hv]sync options to the Fiddle function
		Fixed expr bug introduced by earlier updates
		Added rtf doc file (for those who care!)
		Manual updates to reflect the above

4/9/94		Fixes to MakeCard to cover discrepencies for videoram splitting
		Code cleanup

4/17/94		Manual changes (thanks dwex) and addition of monitor 
		description submission procedure
		Minor but important changes to ConfigXF86 and mouse help file
