# README : Diamond Clock Setting Program
# written by Daisuke Yokota (yokota@tom.comm.waseda.ac.jp)

This is my port of the Diamond clock setting program written
by Frank Klemm (pfk@rz.uni-jena.de). Originally it would
not run under linux nor NetBSD.

Ray Balister (balister@cebaf.gov) ported this to linux on 5 Feb 93.
And I could finally port his linux version to NetBSD-0.9 on 29 Oct 93.

Changes from Ray Balister's version are:
  1) Gathered into one source file, newfreq.c.
  2) Added NetBSD's I/O permission routine.
  3) Enable to make both Linux Version and NetBSD Version.
make Linux -- makes freq on Linux.
make NetBSD -- makes freq on NetBSD.

From README.Linux, Ray Balister says:
" This program has _NO_ proprietary information from Diamond in it. "
" You are free to use it and tell your friends. You won't be fined, "
" sued, or forced to wear an albatross around your neck. "

Yes. Please enjoy, if you are getting sad, because you have Diamond's
graphic cards. And if you have any information, please let me know.

Special Thanks to:
Frank Klemm (pfk@rz.uni-jena.de) , who wrote original version.
Ray Balister (balister@cebaf.gov), who ported to linux.
