Welcome to the Apple II Simulator!

The speed of this simulator:

Graphic: generally slow (depends on the speed of your X display).
Scrolling on a sloooow X display is very anoying.
Color displays are normally much faster than monochrome.
	For a test, try this: HGR:HCOLOR=2:HPLOT 0,0:CALL 62454
	Be patient!

Nearly all games do much hires graphics. If your X display is
too slow, it will decrease the performance of the simulator
in such a way, that the game isn't playable.

Processor: a 6502 at 1 MHz 100%
on a Sun ELC (SPARC, ca. 12 MIPS) approx. 80%
	on a Sequent S27 (80386, ca. 5 MIPS) approx. 30%
	an a Sun 3/260 (68020, ca. 4 MIPS) approx. 20%.

Disk: I should do some sector skewing depending on the disk operating system.
This would increase disk speed somewhat.
