MailShield is a filtering tool that can block mail relaying, filter out junk mail, and stop e-mail bombs on your mail server. It uses an easy text-based program to filter all the e-mail that a mail server receives.

MailTalkX - 3.0 

In contrast to most of the programs here, MailTalkX is not designed solely with spam in mind; MailTalkX is, nonetheless, a very effective anti-spam tool. MailTalkX is an e-mail monitoring utility. Its features include, audible and visual notification of incoming e-mail, automatic updating, log-file maintenance, spam filtering, and individual .WAV file settings. MailTalkX will even allow for unlimited e-mail accounts. You can customize MailTalkX so that it plays a certain .WAV file when you receive mail from a certain person. You can also assign different .WAV files to play, depending on the subject of the incoming mail. All features are fully configurable by the user.

SpamBuster - 1.8 

SpamBuster is an e-mail filter designed to help you get rid junk e-mail. Rather than ban the transmission of e-mail (which can get into rather thorny first amendment issues) at the source, use technology to help eliminate junk e-mail at the target (that is, your machine). You can launch into your e-mail program to retrieve and read the e-mail that you wish to read after cleaning up the incoming mail. SpamBuster does not download the entire message body, so its very fast. Not only will it flag junk e-mail, it will allow you to preview and selectively delete any message (including non-spam) you wish simply by marking it.

SpamEater Pro - 3.0 

SpamEater Pro will remove spam from your mailbox and notify you (.WAV, popup message, or launch your mail software) when there is new mail waiting! SpamEater Pro will connect with your ISP's mail server (via POP3) and check each e-mail message found there - prior to your downloading with your e-mail client program. It compares the information in the message with your valid e-mail addresses and against an extensive listing of known spammers. If the message is found not to be to one of your valid addresses (which you define), or if a match is found against the list of known spammers, then the message is deleted from the mail server.

SpamKiller - 2.74 

SpamKiller is very powerful yet easy to use. Five different filter types let you filter on any message part, including the message text, headers and country codes. The Friends list ensures that all normal e-mail reaches you, and copies are made of all automatically filtered mail. The Filter Wizard makes it easy to add your own filters, and registered users receive online updates. Both automatic and manual complaints are supported, and you can write your own messages. SpamKiller handles any number of POP3 or MAPI accounts.
