By default KABcam will use the first capture device installed on your
computer. If you have more than one capture device you can configure
KABcam to use one of these other devices.

1. Open Control Panel, then Multimedia and click on the Devices tab.
2. Expand the Video Capture Devices line.
3. Locate the device you want to use. The first device is 0 the second
   is 1, third is 2 and so on.
4. Use Notepad to open the KABCAM.INI file in your WINDOWS directory.
5. Under the [ImageFormat] heading add the following line, replacing x with
   the number of the device you want to use.

	CaptureDevice=x

6. Save the KABCAM.INI file.

The next time you run KABcam it will use the specified capture device.

4. Image Formats
================
KABcam supports RGB image formats with 4, 8, 16, 24 and 32 bit color
depth. The image created by KABcam is always a 24 bit color image.

Some capture devices support other types of image formats. KABcam may not
problerly handle some of these formats. If you receive an error that
KABcam could not capture the image, or if you receive and error and
KABcam closes when you try to upload or view an image, try selecting
a different image format.

5. Uninstalling KABcam
======================

a snap. Before uninstalling, make sure the "Run when windows starts" option
under the General tab in setup is unchecked.
