BootLocker Version History (a long one!):

BootLocker 7.2 - Current Version
--------------

Fixed two bugs: Now, for the first time in BootLocker's history
it is compatible with Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Windows
Operating Systems. Also fixed a bug which would stop BootLocker
from loading at startup.

BootLocker 7.1 - Rated 5 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

Includes minor bug fixes to BootLocker 7.0. Also we have added
the feature of recovering systems after passwords have been
lost or forgotten. This feature is only available to registered
users.

BootLocker 7.0 - Rated 5 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

BootLocker was aquired by Intelibyte Computer Solutions, but
I am still the head programmer. We have regrouped the
BootLocker family of products. From now on the Pro editions of
BootLocker will only be developed for networks. The regular
BootLocker versions will be developed specifically for single
computer environments. This version included new features such
as BootLocker screen saver, system tray support, totally native
and 32 bit, more asthetically pleasing interface, and bug fixes
from previous versions.

BootLocker 6.0/Pro 1.0/Pro 1.1 - Rated 4 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

BootLocker 6 was never officially released to the public.
This version included features similar to BootLocker Pro
2.0 (the server client edition of the BootLocker family).
Renamed product line to BootLocker Pro and released version 1.0

BootLocker 5.1 - Not Rated
--------------

Fixed the verification problem, but was obviously still
very unpopular with the public because of the previous
version.

BootLocker 5.0 - Not Rated
--------------

ACK...this was a buggy version. It tried to check the data
files on startup for damage, and when they were, forced you
to insert a restore disk, only to find out that the Backup
Command didn't work! On the good side, Administration was
now 32-bit.

BootLocker 4.6 - Rated 4 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

Fixed a few bugs with 4.5 that caused LOCKER.EXE to
crash when a Welcome Message was more than 80
characters long.

BootLocker 4.5 - Rated 4 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

Redesigned the interface once more, and fixed a couple
of minor bugs, and started to accept credit cards. Also,
Windows 3.x compatibility was dropped.

BootLocker 4.1 - Rated 4 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

Fixed a bug with 4.0 that caused it not to recognize
certain registration names (it would overflow).

BootLocker 4.0 - Rated 4 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

Redesigned the BootLocker interface, and included features
such as enabling and disabling accounts, letting users change
their passwords, and forcing them to. Also introduced the
Check Database command, which would check the BootLocker
Data files for any incorrect information.

BootLocker 3.0 - Rated 3 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

BootLocker 3.0 introduced the Windows interface to BootLocker
Administration. Since I wasn't used to programming for
Windows, the interface wasn't that pretty.

BootLocker 2.1 - Rated 3 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

BootLocker 2.1 fixed a small bug that would sometimes cause
BootLocker to lock up on startup on a few computers.

BootLocker 2.0 - Rated 3 Stars on ZDNet
--------------

BootLocker 2.0 was my first shareware product, and it was
basically 1.0 with a major face lift. It was totally DOS
based, but ran on Windows 3.x, 95, and 98.

BootLocker 1.0 - Not Rated
--------------

This version of BootLocker was never released to the public.
It was mainly written for myself and friends. The password
file was not encrypted, and it did not support any advanced
options (such as enabling and disabling accounts).
