Windows machine.

CONTENT of downloadable files:

ALL.ZIP => Remote Control Server (slave) + Remote Control (master)
RC.ZIP       => Remote Control (master)
RCS.ZIP => Remote Control Server (slave)
SERVICE.ZIP => Remote Control Server Service (NT 4 only) (slave)

INSTALL + USE
-------------
Please install the Remote Control Server on the slave machine
(use INSTALL/RC/SLAVE/SETUP.EXE),
and install the Remote Control on the administrator (master) machine
(use INSTALL/RC/MASTER/SETUP.EXE).

On the master machine, please read the "Speed up Remote Control" document.
Click in the "Start menu", "Programs", "Remote Control", "Speed up Remote Control".
This document contains tips for improving data transfert speed between two machines.

What's new
----------
1.7
---
. Remote Control includes an address book.

. A file manager has been added
(the master machine can send and receive files from the slave machine).

1.6
---
. Remote Control Server includes now new security options
  (encrypted passwords, NT authentication, ...).

. Remote Control has a new scan facility, which allows to look for Remote Control Servers
  on a network.

. "Remote Control Servers Localizer Server (service)" helps
administrators using "Remote Control" to find slave machines running
  "Remote Control Server (service)".

. "Remote Control Gateway" makes it possible for a machine to act as a gateway,
thus making it possible a master machine ("Remote Control") running on a different network,
to connect to all the "Remote Control Server (Service) " of the local area network.
This server is useful when the method employed to establish connection between the two networks
does not make it possible for the master machine to reach all the machines of the local area network.

*** How to use "Remote Control Servers Localizer Server (service)" *** :
Install "Remote Control Servers Localizer Server (service)" with
LOCATOR/SETUP.EXE (Regular server) or LOCSERVC/SETUP.EXE (NT service)
on a machine that it always available (machine name = Localizer1)

On slave machines, configure "Remote Control Server (service)" (slave)
to register with this "Remote Control Server Localizer Server"
(Localizer1 or IP address of Localizer1)
Use the "Localizers" button in the "Advanced" tab in
the "Properties" of "Remote Control Server (service)".

On a master machine, you the File/Connect menu option, then click the
"Query a Localizer..." button, use Localizer1 or IP address of Localizer1
for the "Localizer Name/IP Address" parameter, then click "Query".
=> This will return the list of "Remote Control Servers" known by this
  Localizer.
