Release Information
===================

Release 2.3
===========> 9-7-98
Fixed some very minor bug fixes and added some nice features.

* Didn't always set the tray text (sigh). Some times complex
logic isn't even as good as no logic at all.

* Cleared up some confusion about 5.25'' registered disks.

* Now trying to start another copy of FC does *not* make FC
visible and bring it to the top. Instead, it just toggles FC's
state, just like double clicking on the tray icon. Result?
Now you can activate and deactivate FC with a hotkey if you
want. Just create an explorer shortcut to the executable and
assign it a hotkey. Cool, eh?

* The delay value is now in 10ths of a second, not seconds. So
now use 10 where you would use 1. This means if you have a very fast
or slow computer you can better fine tune the responsiveness of the
redialing. Note that on a Pentium 200 a delay factor of 1 takes up
about 1% of your processor time, while a delay factor of 10 uses
between 0.10 and 0.95 percent.

Release 2.2
===========> 5-7-98
Minor updates and bug fixes only.

* Documentation has been spell checked, and slightly
rewriten.

* Unused code and definitions were removed from the source.

* In some cases, the default internet connection was
started instead the of connection selected in the
dialog. Fixed.

* Rare and small memory leak removed.

Release 2.1
===========> 3-15-98
Just for fun I added internationalization support to
Forever Connected. Click the Customize DUN Strings
button, and read the directions.

* Made a right click on the tray icon bring
FC to the top.

* Starting FC when another copy is already running
now brings the other copy to the top.

* The window now remembers its last position.

Release 2.0
===========> 3-08-98
Wow. This is by far the best and easiest to use version of
Forever Connected. Now selecting your internet connection
takes one click. And that is all you have to do to set up
the entire program, assuming you have the English language
version of Windows. In addition to the easier setup, the
biggest problem with FC, incompatibility with IE 4.0
systems, is now history.  Plus:

* The documentation is much improved.

* New options have been added, (registered version only,
however), allowing FC to be used in entirely new ways.

* DUN strings are now all end-user customizable, meaning
that if you are not running this program in the USA, you
can still use FC, with a extra little setup work.

* Now FC works with DUN 1.0, as well as 1.1 and 1.2.

All this, and it still only costs $5.0!

Release 1.2
===========> 1-25-98
Small cosmetic changes only.

Release 1.1
===========> 8-24-97
Small bugs found and removed. Full tray support has been
added, resulting in a much smaller interface. Documentation has
been slightly improved. Now comes with an order form. Unused
code has been removed, making for a smaller footprint.

Release 1.0
===========> 7-23-97
Looks bug free, and finally works the way I want it too.
