What is New in the several versions of MidiPlus.
================================================

MidiPlus 2.00 Beta 3 is the next version of MidiPlus 2.00 Beta 2.
What's new in this Version?
* Help file added and updated.
* Now you can specify a default folder for saving your Play Lists.
* Minor bugs were fixed.

* An MP3 Plug-in is distributed with MidiPlus for Playing MP3 files.
* MidiPlus code is optimised to use fewer resources.
* Several internal issues where optimised.
* Now you can register MidiPlus as the default player for playing Mp3 files.

* MidiPlus can play MP3 files if you have Microsoft Windows Media Player 5.2 installed.
* MidiPlus can play files in Zip file (still in testing)

A cool face lift to the interface.  
* The lists are saved to the disk as files instead to Windows registry 
* MidiPlus now has its own internal volume control. 
* Several features regarding the lists and songs where improved. 
* Quick access to the most basic functions for editing the songs in a list 
* Added Zip file support (Not ready) 
* The drag and drop support is not working (for the moment) and maybe some
  other minor functions.
* The help file is not included and there is no documentation about this
  version.

* MidiPlus logo background changed because wasn't displayed well in some 
  screen colors configurations.

* If you select from songs list the same file that is opened MidiPlus doesn't
  open it again.
* Now you can specify to MidiPlus which paths to save.
* Now you can specify how many songs or lists will drop down when you click
  the song's or list's list box.
* Play lists window can be resized making play lists editing easier.
* MidiPlus now has a new logo.
* A splash screen was added to MidiPlus.
* MidiPlus now is created using Delphi 3 instead of Delphi 2. Delphi is a
  powerful tool from Borland for creating applications as reliable and fast
  as C++ applications.

* Now MidiPlus can start playing the play lists as soon as it starts up.
* Now MidiPlus can remember the last song opened in each play list when you
  switch between the play lists or from Random to normal order play. 
* File Drag and Drop support.
* Some bugs were fixed.

MidiPlus Features
==================
Some of MidiPlus other features are:
 * CD-player-like interface
 * No repeat, repeat once, and continuous repeat functions
 * Two Modes: Open and List Mode.  In Open mode, it works like the
   Windows Media Player, opening and playing one file at a time. In
   List mode, you put together lists of multiple MIDI files to play
   back-to-back, creating as many lists as you want.
 * The program can be minimized on the system tray and can be easily
   made your default MIDI player
 * MIDI, WAV and AVI files support in the same list.
 * Random play.
 * You can use a Toolbar for controlling MidiPlus.
 * Volume Control support.

MidiPlus Instalation
====================
MidiPlus runs in all computers that are running windows95/98 or windows NT4.
However a 486DX2 with 16MB RAM is recommended as the minimum.

To install MidiPlus run the mp200b3.exe
MidiPlus at this beta version will not import the Play Lists of versions 1.xx.

MidiPlus and MP3
================
MidiPlus can play MP3 files if you have Microsoft Windows Media Player 5.2 installed.

MidiPlus distribution 
======================
 MidiPlus can be distributed in any medium (CD-ROM, Floppy Disks, BBS,
Internet etc.) as long the user DOES NOT PAY ANYTHING FOR MidiPlus. The user
should only pay a reasonable fee for the cost of the medium and other
expenses distributing the medium.
 Software Magazines and Software sites can distribute MidiPlus freely, but I
want to be notified by e-mail the article mentioning MidiPlus and the link to
it (for Software sites).
