* INSTALLATION

To install, simply copy all "DoctorWhoSS.*" files to the windows
folder (normaly C:\WINDOWS). Then go the Display options in
Control Panel and in the Screen Saver section select DoctorWhoSS!
So simple even a Zygon could do it!

To remove simply delete all the "DoctorWhoSS.*" files from the windows
folder, but why you want to do this is beyond my comprehension.

* RELEASE NOTES:

I wrote this in early 1997 after looking for a Doctor Who screen saver
and finding something that said, "See the TARDIS spin across your screen
in 3D!". I thought, "Yeah! That's what I want!", and downloaded it
straight away. I was rewarded by a quite pathetic sight. The screen went
black and a cut out screen capture of the TARDIS slid across the screen
in a rather depressing fashion. It didn't actually spin or anything. It
just kind of flipped back and forth as it slid across. It contained 2
frames on animation. The second was just a mirror of the 1st. It was also
very flat. About as 3D as Homer Simpson.

I was quite disappointed. I think I said something about being able to
pull a better screen saver out of any 1 of the many orrafaces on my body.

It was a long time ago and I don't still have it. I have no idea who wrote
it. It may not be as bad as I remember. If you have a copy I'd love to see
  it again!

So I wrote this. It took afew months or so of occasional work to finish
  it.

I never released it because I wanted to wait until I'd put all the Doctors
  and more monsters in.

  I never did.

Recently, someone I know said they had been looking for a Doctor Who
screen saver and that what they had found on the web was not as good as
this one. That's their opinion. I haven't looked at any others since the
sad "spinning" TARDIS thing so I don't know if this is better or worse or
  what.

Anyway, I was convinced to polish it off and release it.

So here it is! My gift for the 35th Anniversary of Doctor Who!

If you spot a bug let me know.
If you like it and use it send me an email and let me know.
If you hate it send me an email and let me know why.
If you think it can be improved in some way let me know.
If you want a custom screen saver done for your company or for any
other reason let me know, I'm cheap!
If you own the rights to produce Doctor Who games let me know,
        I've got an idea!
If you wrote the spinning TARDIS screen saver thing and are currently
sobbing uncontrolably then I thank you for inspiring me and I apologise.
No offense is intended. You are welcome to bag my attempt as much as you
  like.

If I get a good response I'll keep working on it and put in the other
  Doctors, more monsters etc.

  Enjoy!
