Dear Interactive Entertainment, I would like to mention what I feel are a few good and bad points about your newest CD magazine, number 6. First, just to be nice, the good. I loved the fact that you had several more demos than in previous issues. The commercial at the end of the magazine telling us what to look forward to was welcome and informative. Now for the bad. I ran into a few games I had never heard of before and after clicking on the review button found you had "improved" the windows option of what to do during a mouse click. Previously if I didn't like what I saw in the first few scenes I could end my suffering there and return to the menu, but now I was confronted with a bunch of choices which discuss the game further. While this could be helpful in a game I was interested in I found it just added to my pain and agony of these games I did not like. Just a suggestion - add a choice at the end which allows you to return to the previous menu and end the review. Second, and the most annoying point, I absolutely hated the commercials you had, which seemed to play after a half- to three-quarter hour interval. I have every intention of getting a subscription to your magazine when I can afford it, and found the commercial insulting and annoying, as there is no reason for having I there, you get your money whether I buy the CD from the store or direct. I think the subscribe button is plenty, guys. In general though I love your work (wish I could have your job). Keep up the good work. E.S. Mountain View, CA Oops. For some reason, a couple of people have experienced a problem with the menus recently that never appeared before. Rest assured, the pop-up menus are SUPPOSED to feature controls that let you exit an article you're not interested in, move around in the article, etc. If we figure out a workaround for this problem, we'll let you know . . . in the meantime, hopefully we've squashed this particular bug. T.K.
