TO INSTALL DOOM
	IE will install the freely-distributable shareware version of part I of Doom to your hard drive. To continue, click "Done" to close this text window and choose "OK" when the install script asks whether you wish to install the demo. To play the demo, exit IE and close Windows. Change to the directory to which you installed Doom and type SETUP to configure the game for graphics and sound. Once you are finished with setup, you will be given the option to jump directly into the game. In the future, you can change to the directory where Doom is located and type DOOM.

	Ahem. Doom is, of course, the much-acclaimed first-person 3D action game from id Software. In it, you play a space marine who gets the unfortunate job of cleaning up after a research station after they accidentally open a gateway into Hell. Features rollicking gameplay in which you basically blow away demons with a variety of different guns, while trying to untangle a maze of locked and secret doors to get to the exit of each level. This demo contains the complete playable shareware version 1.2 of the first section, entitled "Knee-Deep in the Dead." I wonder how Shakespeare missed THAT title, huh?
